PAUL J. HAHN, Agency Administrator
Paul
was
appointed as the Administrator of the Municipal Services Agency on May 27,
2007. As Administrator, he
is responsible for the day to day agency administration and oversight of the
eleven departments in the Agency.
Hahn has worked for Sacramento County for more than 17 years. He became Assistant to the County Executive in the Department of Economic Development and Intergovernmental Affairs in 2004 and Director of Economic Development in 1997. There, Hahn managed a budget of $38 million and was responsible for attracting and retaining businesses, business assistance and commercial corridor revitalization. His department oversaw the reuse of the former Mather and McClellan Air force Bases into successful centers of commerce for the Sacramento region.
Hahn has experience with managing departments, acting as liaison with County business organizations including the Sacramento Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber, the Sports Commission and the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization and developing strategic goals and policy formation.
Hahn received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Public Administration from San Diego State University. With the exception of his dissertation, he has completed his doctorate coursework in Public Administration from the University of California, Davis.
