The Municipal Services Agency -  responsible for reviewing development applications and issuance of building  permits -is gearing up to overhaul and streamline key processes to help move customers from concept to occupation smoothly while meeting our regulatory responsibilities.

      A group comprised of County staff and private industry representatives has convened to drive the year-long process and guide changes in County processes. Their goal is  to insure customers' needs are considered in every phase of the project. We encourage members of the developer industry to get involved.

The future is bright for the developer community throughout the Sacramento region.  Since 2004, the County of Sacramento has fostered nearly $1.2 billion in commercial and residential development in the region, and expect continued growth.
