The first meeting of process stakeholders was held March 10, 2006. Present were representatives from County departments as well as architects, engineers and builders from the private sector. Invitations are extended to the private sector as well as service providers including SMUD, PG&E and Metro Fire to insure a broad spectrum of input.

The Steering Committee:
Provides process oversight and insures staff resources to accomplish the project mission, document and validate progress, and keep the process on track and on time. Members:

• Victor Morrison-Vega, Director of Neighborhood Services
• Steve Pedretti, Deputy Director of Municipal Services Agency

• Robert Sherry, Director of Planning and Community Development

Development Roundtable:
Comprised of internal and external members, his group will provide feedback on progress and direction of the development streamlining project.

Oversight Committee:
Comprised of outside customers who use Sacramento County development services- serves as a feedback mechanism. Each member was selected to represent a specific niche: small projects, large projects, commercial, retail, residential, engineers, land use attorney, environmental consultant and community council representation.
