| The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for a JOB ORDER CONTRACT.
A Job Order Contract (hereinafter called JOC) is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced, and indefinite quantity contract. It includes a collection of detailed repair, construction tasks, and specifications that have established unit prices. It is placed with a Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, etc., of buildings, structures, or other real property. Ordering is accomplished by means of issuance of a Task Order pursuant to the Contract.
The Contractor, under the JOC, furnishes all management, labor, materials, equipment, required plan, check and permits from local jurisdictions needed to perform the work.
It is highly suggested that Bidders attend the following Pre-Bid Conference to be held in the: Flight Deck Conference Room, 2nd Floor - 10545 Armstrong Ave. Mather CA 95655,at 1:30 P.M. PST, October 28, 2009 for the purpose of distributing documents and discussing the JOC concept.
ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $50,000 to $2,000,000.
CONTRACTOR'S CALIFORNIA LICENSE AND/OR CLASS REQUIRED: B -General.
