Program
Description
Construction Management and Inspection Division
(CMID) is a service division
supporting the construction efforts of the
County
of
Sacramento. CMID provides inspection, basic materials testing
and construction management for publicly bid
construction contracts. The purpose of CMID is to
ensure projects are constructed in accordance with
plans, specifications and county standards. CMID provides these services on:

Road
and bridges
-
Sanitary
sewers and waste water treatment facilities

Water
supply, distribution and drainage facilities
-
Airport
facilities and infrastructure
-
Parks
-
Waste
Management and Recycling
-
County-owned
building projects
In
addition, CMID inspects public works infrastructure
constructed by private developers as part of subdivision
improvements and commercial site development and
projects constructed by private contractors that will be
maintained by the County.
