Road and Lane Closures
The following list includes closures for all County road ways that are in unincorporated areas, or areas that the County inspects. It does not include state highways, such as Jackson, Hwy 50 and I-80. However, the list of lane closures is not all-inclusive, but rather includes only those closures most affecting the traveling public. Criteria considered include time of day (peak traffic hours), duration, location, number of lanes, and scope of work. Click here for unscheduled emergency road closures.

Antelope Road between Watt Avenue & Don Julio Blvd

Hazel Avenue between Tributary Point to Curragh Downs Drive
July 6 to July 14
8:00 AM to 3:30 PM & 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM		Lane Closure
The #1 lane both North and Southbound Hazel Avenue will be closed between Tributary Point to Curragh Downs Drive. Turning Lanes to Gold Country Blvd will also be affected. Suggest Sunrise Blvd to avoid construction traffic. REASON FOR CLOSURE: Removal of Median Islands. DISTRICT:4&5

Marconi Avenue between Watt Avenue to Fulton Avenue
June 28 to November 29
8:00 PM to 6:00 AM		Lane Closure
Lanes #1 and #2 both east and westbound Marconi Avenue will be affected at various times between Watt Avenue and Fulton Avenue. All intersections along the way will be affected, motorists are encouraged to use El Camino as an alternate route around construction. At various times and dates the closure may carry over into the daylight hours. REASON FOR CLOSURE: New Water Main Installation. DISTRICT:3

Robertson Avenue between Becraa Way & Montclaire Street

Robertson Avenue will be closed to all through traffic from Becraa Way to Montclair Street. Local residnence will have access to their homes, and Emergency Vehicles will have a pass through lane. All other traffic will be detoured. Suggest using Marconi as alternate route. REASON FOR CLOSURE: Installation of new drainage pipeline. DISTRICT:3

Watt Avenue between Roseville Road and Elverta Road
June 18 to July 2

The #2 Lanes both north and southbound Watt Avenue will be closed between Roseville Road and Elverta Road. At least one lane will be open in each direction of travel. REASON FOR CLOSURE: Installation of ramps, curb, and gutter. DISTRICT:1

Watt Avenue from intersection of Elkhorn Blvd to north 1500 feet.
June 2 to August 8
9:00 PM to 6:00 AM		Lane Closure
Watt Avenue will be affected from Elkhorn Blvd to 1500 feet north of the intersection. Owens Way and Plymouth Drive will also be affected by the closures. One lane will always be open in both directions at all times. REASON FOR CLOSURE: New Sewer Pipeline installation. DISTRICT:1

South of American River
Bradshaw Road between Florin Road and Calvine Road
March 26 to September 28
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM		Lane Closure
There will be periodic lane closures on Bradshaw Road between Florin Road and Calvine Road. The lane closures will affect both north and southbound traffic, and flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the construction zone. REASON FOR CLOSURE: Relocation of utilities, and widening the roadway. DISTRICT:5
