Basic Collection Service Information

Sacramento County provides waste collection services for more approximately 180,000 single-family, duplex and some multi-family homes in the unincorporated area north of Calvine Road. These homes receive services that are provided by the County's Department of Waste Management & Recycling work crews and equipment. Households south of Calvine Road receive service from Central Valley Waste Services.

Residents of single-family and duplex homes receive the following services:

• Weekly garbage service
  (choice of 38, 60 or 90 gallon container)
• Green waste collection
  (every other week)
• Mixed recycling
  (every other week)
• Neighborhood Cleanup Service
