• Federal Cutback of Allocated Water
  Sacramento County Water Agency customers are being asked to cut back on water use by at least 10%. Dry conditions have seriously reduced the federal water allocation for our area, making conservation efforts critical throughout the region. Read more details in the news release.The water agency has established water conservation measures to assist home and business owners on how to conserve water everyday.
  
  
• Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant
  The Sacramento County Water Agency (SCWA) has begun its largest construction project ever, the Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant. This historic project will ultimately provide the Water Agency with the capacity to treat up to 100 million gallons of surface water per day for delivery to over 100,000 thousand homes and businesses in its service area. • Arden Park Fire Station Proposed Purchase
  The Sacramento County Water Agency has made an offer for the purchase of Arden Park Fire Station for the benefit of the Arden Park Vista water service area customers. If awarded, the site would be used to store repair materials for the aging Arden Park water system, such as sections of water pipe, valves and fire hydrants. More on this proposed purchase.
