Water Supply Development
The Water Supply Development section consists of two units:
- Development review
- Facility and groundwater planning.
Development review staff plans, designs, and implements Zone 40 funded water supply conveyance projects to meet
the objective of conjunctive use of surface and ground water and stabilization
of local groundwater levels. Staff also reviews water supply improvements within
Zone 40 which are funded by development interests.
Facility and groundwater planning staff implement the Zone 40 Master Plan to
meet the water demands of new development. Staff also implements the State Well
Monitoring Program and evaluates new development impacts on regional water
sources.
