Water Supply Planning
The Water Supply Planning is responsible for coordinating with other agencies
to develop long term regional water supply projects which are environmentally
sound and provide safe and reliable water supplies to meet planned needs. Staff
develop long-term management strategies for protection of groundwater and
surface water resources by
- exploring opportunities for surface water acquisition
- groundwater management
- development of cooperative projects
- resolving regional issues
- providing environmental analysis.
