Water Agency Zone 40

The Water Agency's Zone 40 provides for the construction of major water supply facilities in the urban and urbanizing areas of the Laguna, Elk Grove, and Vineyard communities in the southern unincorporated area of the County. Revenues are generated by fees collected at the time of development and by utility charges.

Water Supply Development Review and Water Supply Design are funded by this source. Estimated revenue for Zone 40 in fiscal year 2002/2003 was $ 24.5 million.
